One person. Built from the inside.
MERITO is built by one person — me, Juan Cortázar. I'm a promoter with Groove Grill in Madrid, a DJ and a producer, and a UX designer by trade. I've been on both sides of a booking: the artist sending press kits nobody opened, and the promoter an agent had to chase five times for a single payment receipt. So I built the tool I needed on both sides — one live link with everything a promoter or an agency wants to see, read receipts so you know when they actually look, and one checklist per booking so nobody has to ask twice.

Not my first tool for musicians
MERITO is my second tool for the music community. The first is SpinningVinyl, a video maker for music releases — live since March 2026, growing every day, and used by teams at labels like Armada.

How I work
Everything published here follows one rule: it has to be useful even if you never use MERITO. The label list in the demo submission guide is verified by hand and dated. The guides get updated, not abandoned. If something's out of date, write me and I'll fix it.
